Blue Medicine
A love letter to healing
Blue Medicine was born in the quiet hours — when the world sleeps and the soul does its deepest work. I wrote it for every woman who has ever felt broken, lost, or invisible… and for the fire inside her that refuses to go out.
Each track is a different kind of blue — the velvet midnight kind, the ocean-depth kind, the tender bruised-violet kind. But blues that hesitate… blues that ask is this real? Because real healing doesn't happen in the light. It happens in the liminal spaces. The 3AM confessions. The kitchen light at 4AM. The almost-cry we swallow before breakfast.
I wanted Blue Medicine to feel like a warm hand on your chest — not fixing you, just holding you. Reminding you that you're not alone in the dark. That something beautiful can come from the brewing, the breaking, the becoming.
Classic jazz wrapped in orchestral warmth, with a ghost-rhythm of reggae underneath — because healing has layers. It's not linear. Sometimes it sways. Sometimes it swings.
This album took everything I had. And I gave it freely. Because that's what medicine does. 💙
